Just wanted to share a little memory that still gets me going. A few months ago, I was in a quiet shoe store trying on a pair of heels—nothing too flashy. But the clerk (who clearly knew the effect they had) lingered just long enough, complimented the fit, and gave me this look that said they knew. I didn’t act on it, but I definitely lingered in those heels a lot longer than I needed to.
Anyone else had subtle but unforgettable moments like this? In a store, public setting, or just when someone gets it without saying a word?
