The apartment was as rundown and depressing as ever. The beer bottles and pizza boxes littering the living room stank of masculinity, and the peeling wallpaper stretched lazily across the walls like neglected skin. It was a veritable treasure trove of shabby furniture, its pieces creaking and groaning as the three men hunched over wondering about how they were going to make ends meet.
"Alright, I know we're screwed right now, and we need to come up with something," Jim declared, his voice laced with urgency. "But I've found us a way out. Check this out." He tossed a wrinkled flyer on the stained coffee table.
Tommy, Jim's longtime friend and roommate, snatches it up, curiosity gleaming in his brown eyes, and reads aloud: "Miss Bimbo Beauty Pageant? What is this crap?"
"Hear me out. The prize is $500,000 for the best trio of bimbos. Think about it $500,000 is a lot of money. Enough to pay off all our debts, get someplace decent to live." Jim said in an eager tone.
"I don't know, man. That sounds crazy. Some kind of marketing scam for some porno magazine or something," Bryan said, slapping the armrest with the palms of his large hands.
"Yeah, I mean...it sounds sketchy and well...were not bimbos, much less even women Jimbo!", Tommy replied as he raised a thin eyebrow at his friend, glancing nervously at the crinkled flyer.
