Each emotive episode showcases the personal experiences of a trans person, who is ready to show the world who they truly are.
Angelina Please is a fiercely independent, strong-willed trans woman. She had a rough upbringing but not in the way that people would expect, which is that it all happened because she's trans. While she didn't necessarily have the support system she wishes she could've had, once she did come out to her family, they were accepting, especially since she has a trans sibling who came out before her. Even so, that doesn't mean her life is easy.
Angelina's key takeaway from her experiences growing up and beyond is to just trust in yourself and be your own best friend. There's always a sense or urgency to figure out everything as fast as possible, to do everything right, and to be accepted, but she encourages people to take their time. In the end, even if you're not accepted, as long as you're happy with who you are, that's all that matters. Just never give up.
