This visit to Arizona State University with Monica Horne made me reminiscent of my old college days. Even then, I was in constant wonder at all the beautiful women walking to and from class. One day, out of the blue, I walked up to this stranger and paid her the best compliment I could think of. She smiled and I asked her on a date. She said yes. Here is the second half of my shoot with Mercedes Llano. You may recall her photos in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. After those, we wrestled with traffic on the 101 to get to her rented room in Hollywood. The view from its windows was awful, unless you were looking in. The private setting allowed me to photograph Mercedes wearing much less than outdoors. I felt Mercedes grow shy for a moment, but that was short-lived.
