Mind Control r@pe Fantasy

An overconfident superheroine loses sight of her priorities and gets abducted by a dis-affected scientist, who turns her into a remote-controlled sex-doll that doubles as human punching bag. Venting out his sexual frustration, the demented sadist further indulges his ego by making a public spectacle of his greatest triumph and her inescapable moral dilemma. Unfortunately for the young virgin, subliminal sexual desire is her fatal flaw, especially since behavior unbecoming of an icon of virtue is a capital offense. Having seen hundreds of superheroine peril films, I'm all too familiar with this theme. Nevertheless, this short story does have independent merit.

Notably, the heroine puts up stubborn resistance, so the villain can't win simply by physically beating her. Therefore, he must find some way to outsmart her. And, remarkably, the villain also succeeded in surprising the viewer (me). That is, the villain used some other means to subdue the heroine besides a green, glowing crystal, a routine that has long since become banal and overused.

As far as acting is concerned, both the heroine and the villain played their roles well, but I think it would be more in the villain's conceited character to have laughed at the heroine, once he had her in an embarassing predicament.  Moreover, if the heroine really does have superhuman strength, she should be able to take the villain out with only one punch. Notably, the part where she managed to catch him off guard and grab him by his anatomy could easily have been a lethal blow. Alternatively, she could have found some way to disable his mind control device, for example, with her heat vision. Not only would this latter idea have provided a good opportunity to introduce another special effect (this film is fairly good in this category), but it would have extended the conflict a bit longer.

Allowing for logical flaws, which are all too typical in TV serials, animations, and most block buster science fiction, this is the best low-budget, mind-control superheroine peril film that I've seen to date. If only because few of these producers make any effort to introduce novelties or develop any semblance of an intriguing plot.
